Hello and Welcome to our preview for Adelaide Strikers vs Sydney Thunder match. We are covering ADS vs SDT Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide Strikers are in poor form and have won only one encounter out of their three matches. They lost their last match against Perth Scorchers by 7 wickets. Batting first, They collapsed at a low total of 88 runs by some quality bowling from Scorchers. J Weatherald was the top scorer scoring 22 runs while C Valente and Rashid Khan scored 21 runs each. They could not defend the target and lost the match miserably. Billy Stanlake and Rashid Khan bowled well for the team. They will hope to put a good show against Sydney Thunder.

Sydney Thunder are third on the points table with two wins and one loss. They lost their last match to Hobart Hurricanes by 7 wickets. Batting first, Job Buttler was in top form scoring 89 runs in 54 balls but could not get enough support from other end leading to a target of 194 for Hurricanes. Bowlers failed to defend the total in front of Wade and Short’s brilliance. Sam Rainbird was the only positive with the ball and took two wickets. They will hope for a unison effort from all teammates in upcoming matches.

A good match can be expected between both teams.

They have announced 13-player squad for the match. Peter Siddle and Liam O’Connor are added to the squad replacing Wes Agar and Harry Nielsen.

Rashid’s father passed away yesterday night and Rashid has decided that he will stay in Adelaide and play tonight.

Peter Siddle is released from national test squad and can come directly in the playing XI replacing M Neser or C Valente.

Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald will open the innings. Colin Ingram, M Short, Jon Wells and Jake Lehmann will follow them.

M Neser and Billy Stanlake will spearhead the pace attack along with C Valente while Rashid Khan and M Short will be the spinners.

Sydney Thunder:

They have announced unchanged 13-men squad for the match.

Gurinder Sandhu can replace N McAndrew in the playing XI.

Shane Watson and Jos Buttler will open the innings. Joe Root, Callum Ferguson and Jason Sangha will follow them.

Daniel Sams and Sam Rainbird will lead the pace attack while C Green, J Cook and Fawad Ahmed will be the key spinners. J Sangha can support them.

There is also a slight chance of Arjun Nair replacing J Cook. Chances of same are less.
