Team Afghanistan continued their statistical dominance over Ireland registering another T20I victory. Batting first, Ireland could only score 132 runs with G Dockrell and S Poynter being top performer scoring 34* and 31* respectively. Spin duo of Nabi and Rashid took two scalps each for the team. In response, Irish pacers were able to make early damage but Nabi and Najibullah scored impressive knocks of 49* and 40* respectively to chase the target successfully. Place of Farid Malik is risky and Sayed Shirzad can replace him.

Hazratullah Zazai and Asghar Afghan can open the innings. Samiullah Shenwari, Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran and S Shafiq will follow them.

Karim Janat, Mohammad Nabi and Sharafuddin Ashraf will play the role of allrounder.

Karim Janat will lead the pace attack along with Farid Malik/Sayed Shirzad while Rashid, Mujeeb and Nabi will be the key spinners.

Ireland:

S Thompson injured his hamstring in last match . He will be risky starter for tomorrow’s match. J Shannon or A McBrine can replace him if he fails to pass fitness test before match.

Paul Stirling and Kevin O’Brien will open the innings. Andrew Balbirnie, Stuart Thompson (doubtful), Simi Singh, George Dockrell, Shane Getkate and Stuart Poynter will follow them.

Boyd Rankin, Kevin O’Brien and Joshua Little will be the key pacers along with Shane Getkate while Simi Singh and G Dockrell will lead the spin attack.

They can bring an extra batsmen in form of James Shannon to strengthen the batting department replacing Simi Singh or Shane Getkate. Chances of same are very less.

There is also slight chance of A McBrine coming in place of Peter Chase.
