Afghanistan defeated Ireland to get a 2-1 lead in ODI series. Batting first, Asghar Afghan played a crucial knock of 54 runs after the failure of the top order. Nabi and Rashid were brilliant in the death overs scoring 64 and 52 respectively to lead the team to a good total of 223. James Cameron-Dow took three-wicket haul while McBrine and Rankin took two scalps each for the visitors.

Mohammad Shahzad can return to the playing XI replacing Ikram Ali Khil while Hashmatullah Shahidi can replace Noor Ali Zadran.

Asghar Afghan got injured in the last match. If fit, He will play otherwise can be rested.

Hazratullah Zazai and M Shahzad/Noor Ali Zadran can open the innings. Rahmat Shah, Asghar Afghan, Najibullah Zadran and M Nabi Will follow them.

Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib will play the role of an allrounder. Rashid can also contribute with the bat.

Aftab Alam will lead the pace attack along with Gulbadin Naib while Rashid, Mujeeb and Nabi will be the key spinners. Rahmat Shah can support them.
