Arsenal will be welcoming Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United unit as they look to find a way to string winning performances. The Gunners have drawn four games on the bounce under Mikel Arteta’s influence and are 10th in the league with 31 points on board. Meanwhile, Newcastle United is also level in terms of points but are 12th due to the difference in goal difference. The Magpies have won one and lost three from their last four games and have the opportunity to surpass Arsenal provided they win on Sunday.

January signing Cedric Soares is on the sidelines for the hosts, along with Calum Chambers, Kieran Tierney and Reiss Nelson. However, Pablo Mari is an option for Mikel Arteta. Bukayo Saka and Sead Kolasinac are in doubt to start for their side. Shkodran Mustafi could be partnered alongside David Luiz at the centre-back region, while Nicolas Pepe might have to settle for the bench.
Steve Bruce should have Joelinton and Miguel Almiron back in contention to start for the Magpies. Having said that, nine first-team players are ruled out due to injuries. Jetro Willems, Javier Manquillo, Jack Colback, Paul Dummet, Dwight Gayle, Yoshinori Muto, Emil Kraft, Andy Carroll and Jonjo Shelvey are all on the sidelines. Danny Rose could return to the starting eleven in place of DeAndre Yedlin.
