Suzie Bates skipper of Strikers was their sole survivor in batting collapse with her unbeaten knock of 79* runs to lead her team to a total of 132. Rene Farrell, Maisy Gibson and Stefanie Taylor were all over the strikers with three-wicket hauls to the trio. Chasing the target, R Priest scored 58* runs and was supported by Harmanpreet Kaur who scored 33 runs to successfully chase the target in 17 overs. Adelaide Strikers thoroughly missed the all-around.

Sophie Devine suffered shoulder injury last week. She can play tomorrow’s encounter if she passes the late fitness test. If fit, She will replace Tabatha Saville or Samantha Betts in the playing XI.

Suzie Bates and Tahlia McGrath can open the innings. Bridget Patterson, Amanda Wellington and Tegan McPharlin will follow them.

Megan Schutt, Tahlia Mcgrath and Sarah Coyte will be the key pacers along with Alex Price while A Wellington and D Hazell will lead the spin attack.

Sydney Thunder:
