Reigning French champions ASVEL Basket will be looking for a positive result in the EuroLeague when they host Sisko Baskonia in the 5th round match at Astroballe, in Lyon, France.
ASVEL have set the domestic campaign on fire after recording seven consecutive wins in LNB Pro A. There’s no doubt about their credentials against the teams from France, but their struggles in EuroLeague show the difficulties they are finding to compete against the big boys in Europe.
The 70-56 defeat against Zalgiris was their second consecutive loss in the competition.
