AU-W VS NZ-W 1st T20I Dream11 Team Prediction and probable XI: Preview

Hello and Welcome to our preview for Australia women vs New Zealand women 1st T20I match. We are covering AU-W VS NZ-W 1st T20I Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the first T20I match. The match is to be played at North Sydney Oval, Sydney.

The trans-Tasman neighbors are resuming their rivalry. Of course, both the teams will be using these matches as a build-up for their upcoming World Cup campaign yet the importance of this series on its own cannot be denied. This will be a three-match T20I series and it ends on 5^th October.

Australian captain Meg Lanning was out of action for the last 19 months and she will step out after recovering fully from a shoulder surgery. Although the Australian team has not played much of cricket in the last few months, the experience of playing in the BBL will help them. They also played a warm-up match leading to this series, where Beth Mooney scored a half-century.

If Australia can boast of the Big Bash experience so can New Zealand. Five of NZ players were involved in the Australian T20 competition. They have explosive batsmen at the top and have a strong recent record against the hosts as they have won seven out of the last nine matches.

Australia-Women:

They have declared their 13-women squad but they are yet to settle down on their playing XI.
Young uncapped fast bowler Tayla Vlaeminck is injured and will not take part in this match.
Ashleigh Gardner was suffering from a concussion, has made a successful return against Cricket Australia XI in warm-up match. She scored 39 not out off 29 balls.
Young spinner Georgia Wareham is in line for her T20I debut.

New Zealand-Women:

Lea Tahuhu and Amelia Kerr each took three wickets in the warm-up match, Amelia Kerr was excellent in NZ’s last campaign.
Maddy Green was the player of the match while Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates opened the innings.
Sophie Devine was in excellent form during her stint in England with both bat and ball.
