Hello and Welcome to our preview for Auckland Aces vs Canterbury Kings match. We are covering AUK vs CTB Dream 11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

With only three matches remaining in the group stages of the Super Smash, all the eyes will be on the qualifying scenarios. Auckland Aces are sitting pretty on the third spot in the points table with three wins from their seven matches. Canterbury is fighting for its survival with only one win from their seven matches.

Auckland Aces have won both their last matches and will be eyeing a hat trick of victories against the struggling side of Canterbury. They won a close encounter versus Otago last week. Captain Craig Cachopa lead from the front and scored a magnificent 73 from just 38 balls. The bowlers then ensured a four-run win.

Canterbury team went down to the Central Stags in their last match. The Kings conceded 225 runs while bowling first. Matt Henry struck twice. Tom Latham scored a valiant 110 from 60 balls but its proved inadequate as Canterbury totaled 207/4 in their 20 overs.

Interestingly, Canterbury’s only win in the tournament so far was against Auckland Aces. The Kings will be hoping to get their campaign back on the track with a win here.

They have declared their 12-man squad.

English opener Daniel Bell-Drummond will open the inning alongside wicketkeeper Glenn Phillips.

Mark Chapman and Craig Cachopa bat at three and four. Robbie O’Donnell and Graeme Beghin or Ben Horne complete the batting department.

Donovan Grobbelaar will be the all-rounder. Ronnie Hira and Will Somerville are the spin pair. Bell-Drummond will be the sixth bowler id needed.

Mitchell McClenaghan and Matthew Quinn will take the new ball.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Ben Horne is expected to be the 12^th man.

Canterbury Kings:

Canterbury will be missing out on the national players – Matt Henry, Henry Nicholls and Tom Latham. They are replaced by Steve Murdoch, Henry Shipley and Tom Macrury.

In absence of Tom Latham, Andrew Ellis can be promoted to open alongside Chad Bowes. Murdoch takes the third spot.

Cole McConchie is in a splendid form and will bat at number four. Wicketkeeper Cam Fletcher bats at five with debutant Tom Macrury at six. Leo Carter completes the batting.

Todd Astle will be the lead spinner. Kyle Jamieson and Ed Nuttall is the speed pair, Jamieson is currently the highest wicket-taker of the tournament. One of Henry Shipley and Will Williams shall play.
