AUS vs IND Dream11 Team Prediction for 5th ODI: Preview | The Series Decider

Hello and Welcome to our preview for Australia vs India ODI match. We are covering AUS vs IND Dream11 team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the fifth ODI match. The match is to be played at Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi.

Aussies have made a strong comeback after suffering defeats in first two ODI’s and have levelled the series. In the last match, They defeated India by four wickets with help of astonishing batting display from Khawaja, Handscomb and Turner. Batting first, Indian openers were all over Aussies with a 193-run opening stand. Shikhar Dhawan scored outstanding knock of 143 runs in 115 balls while Rohit Sharma unluckily missed his century scoring 95 runs. Quick Cameos from Pant and Vijay Shankar surged India to a total of 358. Pat Cummins was the saviour for Australia taking five wicket-haul while Jhye Richardson took three scalps.

Chasing the target, Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb played brilliant knocks of 91 and 117 respectively even in pressure of run board and also after losing crucial wickets of Finch and Marsh cheaply. Ashton Turner was the match winner for Aussies scoring 84 runs in just 43 balls to successfully chase the target. Jasprit Bumrah was the only positive with the ball for hosts taking three wicket-haul.

Team India will come to all guns firing to defeat Aussies and win their last ODI series before World Cup 2019 while Australia will be determined to continue the momentum and defeat Mighty Indian team and win the ODI Series.

A good encounter can be expected between both teams in the series-decider of ODI Series.

Nathan Coulter Nile has gone back to Australia due to personal reasons.

Marcus Stoinis suffered Thumb injury before the last match and is unlikely to play tomorrow. If fit, He can return to the playing XI replacing Alex Carey. In such a case, Peter Handscomb will handle the wicket-keeping duties.

Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja can open the innings. Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Turner and Alex Carey will follow them.

G Maxwell will play the role of an allrounder. Pat Cummins and Jhye Richardson can also contribute with the bat.

Jhye Richardson, Jason Behrendorff and Pat Cummins will be the key pacers. Adam Zampa will lead the spin attack along with Glenn Maxwell.

India:

MS Dhoni has been rested for the last two matches and Rishabh Pant will take his place.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will open the innings. KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar will follow them.

Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar will play the role of an all-rounder. Bhuvi can also contribute with the bat.
