BAN Team News: Biggest possible news for Bangladesh cricket fans is that Shakib Al-Hasan is back eligible to play for his nation after serving his ban. Bangladesh also added the likes of Hasan Mahmud, Mahedi Hasan and Shoriful Islam to the roster while Taskin and Rubel have been recalled.

Playing combination: With Shakib returning, Bangladesh’s middle-order will have more teeth with the bat. Mahmudullah remains a vital cog, while wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim and Soumya Sarkar will be a significant presence in the middle.
Liton Das and captain Tamim Iqbal are likely to open the batting inning for the team.

BAN vs WI Prediction | BAN vs WI Playing 11

In BAN vs WI Dream 11 prediction, Bangladesh will rely on their spinners. The pitches in Bangladesh, like a typical sub-continent pitch, will help the spinners here, and Bangladesh have some pretty good spinners on their ranks. But West Indies’ lanky bowlers can get a bounce from any pitch and will have their say here.

BAN vs WI Dream11 Prediction:

Wicket-keepers: M Rahim, L Das
Batsmen: S Ambris (VC), J Mohammad, T Iqbal, Mahmuddullah
All-rounder: R Reifer, S A Hassan (C)
Bowlers: C Holder, A Joseph, R Hossain

  • Shakib Al-Hasan: He was the best all-rounder only a few years ago. The ban came as a shock but considering how good a player he is, expect him to his usual lofty level here in this series. He has scored 7641 runs and bagged 260 wickets as well.
  • Alzarri Joseph: If West Indies are to run their hosts close here, Joseph will have to be on the top of his game here. He is their best bowler in this current inexperienced squad having picked up 48 wickets 28 wickets.
  • Tamim Iqbal: Arguably the most decorated ODI batsman for Bangladesh. More importantly, Iqbal has scored 933 runs against WI and will be looking to add more here.
  • Sunil Ambris: Has scored more than 450 runs at a healthy average. He will be a key presence with the bat.

Who will win BAN vs WI Dream11 match today

It’s Bangladesh all the way. The Asian Lions are a tough nut to crack when they play in their familiar conditions and their task becomes a tad easier considering West Indies’ lack of depth and inexperienced. So in the BAN vs WI Dream11 today match prediction, expect BAN to win the game.
