Barcelona will be taking a trip to the Czech Republic as they face Slavia Praha in the Group F fixture of the Champions League.
Ernesto Valverde’s team has currently won four straight games since their defeat to Getafe and are currently at the top of La Liga by being a point above Real Madrid. In the Champions League group stages, Barcelona is at the second spot but is level on points with Borussia Dortmund.
Post the 0-0 draw to Dortmund, Barcelona snatched a crucial 2-1 win against Inter Milan. Slavia Praha, on the other end, is doing remarkably well in the domestic league and have won five straight games as they remain on top. However, Slavia Praha suffered a 2-0 defeat to Dortmund post 1-1 draw to Inter Milan. As a result of that, Slavia Praha finds itself at the third spot in Gropu F with just a point on board.

Head-coach, Trpisovsky rested a few of his first-team players over the 3-1 win against Pribram. Nicolae Stanciu and Vladimir Coufal should be back to face Barcelona after getting adequate rest. Slavia Praha has no such injury concerns going ahead of the Champions League fixture.
Kolar is expected to keep between the sticks, while Boril, Hovorka, Kudela and Coufal are expected to be at the back four. Sevcik and Soucek could be the two holding midfielders. Olayinka, Stanciu, Masopust should feature at attacking midfield, while Tecl is to lead the attack.
Gerard Pique should be back in contention after undergoing a domestic suspension. Nelson Semedo could feature at the right-back spot in place of Sergi Roberto. Junior Firpo and Sergi Roberto remain the only doubts for the Catalans. With the El Clasico being postponed, Valverde should opt for his strongest eleven. Sergio Busquets, Frankie De Jong, and Arthur should accommodate the midfield trio. Meanwhile, the front three of Messi, Suarez and Griezmann would be the obvious choice. Ousmane Dembele could come off the bench after undergoing his suspension.

Luis Suarez scored a brace against Inter Milan and will be rearing to go in another Champions League fixture. Barca’s star-player Leo Messi is steadily getting back to his groove and has scored two goals while also having three assists to his name in the La Liga and Champions League combined.
