Cape Cobras are fourth on the points table with three wins and three losses. They won their last match against Lions by 3 runs with help of young Akhona Mnyaka’s brilliant last over. Batting first, Pieter Malan played an outstanding knock of 102 runs and was supported by JP Duminy who scored 62 runs to give a target of 282 to Lions. Defending the target, Akhona Mnyaka starred with the ball taking three wicket-haul while Rory Kleinveldt and Dane Paterson took two scalps each. They will hope to continue the momentum and improve their standing in the points table.

Dolphins are second on the points table with four wins and one loss. They won their last match against Knights by 22 runs. Bowling first, Robbie Frylinck took three wicket-haul while S Muthusamy took two scalps to restrict Knights at 257. Chasing the target, Rain hindered the proceedings reducing the overs but timely knocks of 59 and 41 from Sarel Erwee and Morne Van Wyk ensured a comfortable victory for Dolphins. They will be determined to defeat Cobras and reach on the top of the points table.
