CEV vs VAL Dream11 Prediction: Valencia will be looking to make it back-to-back wins at the start of their 2020-21 La Liga campaign when they travel to Celta Vigo on Saturday night. Despite the torrid summer at Valencia, they started the new season in fine form beating city rivals Levante 4-2 to give them a much-needed boost. Their home form last season was exceptional also but they were terrible on their travels picking up three draws and losing eight of their last eleven away days. They will look to improve on that this season but that will not be easy here against Celta. The hosts are looking stronger and have plenty of quality in their ranks. They will look to exploit this fragile Valencia side’s mindset and the hosts are favoured to pick up all three points from this fixture.

CEV vs VAL Dream11 Team Prediction

Celta Vigo Team News
Celta could be in for another difficult season as it does appear that they will be heavily reliant on Iago Aspas for goals, particularly if they cannot sign another forward before the transfer window closes. Aspas has scored 102 goals in 193 outings since returning to the club in 2015, but Rafinha and Fedor Smolov have both returned to their respective parent sides and are no longer part of the squad. Oscar Garcia’s side, who only won seven of their 38 league matches last term, opened their 2020-21 campaign with a goalless draw against Eibar on Saturday afternoon.

Injury update, unavailability
There are two major injury concerns for the hosts  ahead of their league opener as Ruben Blanco are Sergio Alvarez are ruled out.

CEV Playing 11 & Subs (probable)
Ivan Villar; Hugo Mallo, Joseph Aidoo, Jeison Murillo, Lucas Olaza; Denis Suarez, Renato Tapia, Brais Mendez; Emre Mor, Iago Aspas, Nolito

Subs (probable): Nestor Araujo, Okay Yokuslu, Santi Mina

Valencia Team News
Valencia started their 2020-21 La Liga campaign with a 4-2 victory over Levante last weekend. Los Che twice fell behind at the Mestalla but Maxi Gomez levelled the scores in the 39th minute before Manu Vallejo came off the bench to net a brace in the final 15 minutes. After back-to-back fourth-place finishes, Valencia ended last season in ninth, and it would be fair to say that it has been a busy transfer window for the club in terms of outgoings, with Rodrigo Moreno, Ferran Torres, Francis Coquelin and Dani Parejo amongst those to move on.

Injury update, unavailability
Valencia are without Elaquim Mangala are Carlos Soler in this clash as both are out due to injury issues.

VAL Playing 11 & Subs (probable)
Jaume Domenech; Jose Gaya, Mouctar Diakhaby, Gabriel Paulista, Daniel Wass; Yunus Musah, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Vicente Esquerdo, Goncalo Guedes; Lee Kang-In, Maxi Gomez

Subs (probable): Kevin Gameiro, Denis Cheryshev, Manu Vallejo

Who will win CEV vs VAL Today Match Prediction Football

The hosts were out of luck to leave Eibar with only a draw, as Iago Aspas and Emre Mor dovetailed well together once again. The home side might have their hopes up for a good result at home, especially with Valencia’s backline looking less than stellar against Levante. However, Valencia have firepower of their own, with Lee Kang-In and Yunus Musah ready to provide for their striking options. We can expect an exciting game with plenty of goals at both ends. We predict a 1-1 draw between these two sides in today match prediction.
