With Reece James and Marcos Alonso out due to injury, Emerson should be the ideal candidate to feature at the left-back spot. Having said that, Cesar Azpilicueta should be coming in at right-back. Frank Lampard might be inclined to bring in Kurt Zouma and Mateo Kovacic in midfield, although Ross Barkley and Pedro are pushing for starts.

However, Mikel Arteta could once again be opting for Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz as the centre-back pairing. With Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinic also in doubts of starting, Bukayo Saka should be starting in at left-back again, while, Hector Bellerin could be on the opposite flank. Matteo Guendouzi may come in place of Lucas Torreira, with Eddie Nketiah and Dani Ceballos being additions options for the visitors.

Gabriel Martinelli bagged a goal in the last game against Sheffield and will be high on confidence against Chelsea. The 18-year-old has two goals from 477 minutes in the league this season.
Though both clubs are going through a rough patch at the moment, Chelsea seems more of the consistent side and would be eying a win.
