The fourth season of Tamil Nadu Premier League is here and it promises to be even more exciting and even more grueling. The first day of TNPL 2019 will see the runners-up of the last season Dindigul Dragons colliding against the 2017 champions Chepauk Super Gillies at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul.

Once again the tournament will be played in a round-robin format which will see all the teams colliding against one another at least once in the competition before the playoffs take the center stage.

The Dindigul Dragons will be led by India’s Test spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, whereas, the Chepauk Super Gillies will be led by all-rounder Vijay Shankar who was unfortunately ruled out of the Indian World Cup squad due to a toe injury.
