Batting first, Quinton De Kock scored one of the best T20 centuries in a difficult situation when other batsmen failed miserably. Janneman Malan also scored 34 runs. With Ball, N Burger and M Nawaz bowled exceptionally well taking three scalps each while M Siboto took two wickets to provide a 60 run win to the side. They will hope to continue the momentum ahead in their three upcoming home matches.

Jozi Stars have won three and lost three encounters yet in the League. In the last match, They defeated Nelson Mandela Bay Giants by a margin of 81 runs. Reeza Hendricks continued his splendid form scoring another unbeaten century for his team to lead to a total of 173 runs. Dwaine Pretorius finally found his niche taking three scalps while K Rabada, B Hendricks and Eddie Leie took two wickets each to collapse Giants at 92 runs only. They will hope to give a tough challenge to table-toppers Cape Town Blitz.

D Malan and M Nawaz joined the team for the last match and will continue to play. Recent Form of Dawid Malan is a cause of concern for the team.

A Nortje has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.

Quinton De Kock and Janneman Malan will open the innings. Farhaan Behardien, Asif Ali and Dawid Malan will follow them. Andile Phehlukwayo and M Nawaz will play the role of an allrounder.

Chris Gayle has joined the squad and is likely to play tomorrow’s encounter. However, It will be unlucky for young Ryan Rickelton who impressed all with his batting.
