Czech Republic have been the giant killers in the tournament after losing to USA in the opening tournament as they beat Turkey to qualify for the second round and then beat Brazil in their first match of the second round and then went on to lose the game against Greece by77-84. In the quarterfinal game they lost their game against Australia by 70-82. They won against Poland and a win here will get them 5^th place which is going to be very satisfactory.

 

The Serbian team was one of the most dominant teams in the competition. Having won their first two group games very easily they even won against Italy which was a tough team by 92-77. They thrashed Puerto Rico in the first encounter of the Second group stage by 90-47. They lost to Spain though in their first real test by 69-81 and then lost the crucial quarterfinal game against Argentina by 87-97.They beat USA by 94-89.
