Kolkata Knight Riders have got a good start to the season winning their first two encounters comfortably with the help of brilliance from Russell and Rana. In the last match, They defeated Kings XI Punjab by 28 runs. Batting first, Robin Uthappa along with Nitish Rana made a solid partnership of 110 runs with Uthappa scoring 67* runs while Rana scored 63 runs. Batting first, Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan gave a good start to the team with Dhawan scoring 51 runs. Rishabh Pant also got starts but failed to play a big knock. Thus, Delhi Capitals could only score 147 runs. Defending the target, Amit Mishra spun his web to take two wickets and was supported by Axar, Rabada and Ishant but could not defend the mediocre target. Delhi Capitals will be determined to get a victory at their home ground and will come all guns blazing to defeat the winning momentum of KKR.

Allrounder Chris Morris has joined the team and is likely to play tomorrow replacing Keemo Paul.

In the last match, They played only three overseas players. However, Tomorrow Sandeep Lamichhane can replace Rahul Tewatia in the playing XI.

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw will open the innings. Shreyas Iyer, Colin Ingram and Rishabh Pant will follow them.

C Morris and Axar Patel will play the role of an allrounder. K Rabada can also contribute with the bat.

Axar Patel and Amit Mishra will lead the spin attack while Kagiso Rabada, C Morris and Ishant Sharma will be the key pacers.

Anrich Nortje, Shivam Mavi and K Nagarkoti have been ruled out of season due to injury.

Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will play the role of an all-rounder. Piyush Chawla can also contribute with the bat.
