Also the ICC would regularly ask questions to its fans over in twitter. One such post that came out today was about Indian all rounder Hardik Pandya. ICC asked if fans knew the reason behind Pandya’s jersey number being 228.

Fans dig deep to find out

As usual, soon after the ICC official twitter handle posted a tricky question, the social media platform was abuzz. Fans started guessing the answers while some started to dig deep to find out what the actual reason might be. Turns out that the reason was that 228 was Hardik Pandya’s highest score. He scored 228 while playing for Baroda U-16 team against Mumbai and helped them win the match. Certainly a proud moment for the all rounder in his career even after achieving heights such as scoring century for the nation and numerous match winning performances for both his country and his IPL club Mumbai Indians.
