Durban Heat are currently ranked fourth on points table with one win and one loss. They defeated Tshwane Spartans by 10 runs in their last encounter. Kyle Abbott starred with the ball taking a four wicket haul to restrict the Spartans at 139. Handy knocks by Amla, Van Wyk, Klassen, Zondo and Morkel ensured a 10 run win as per DLS method. They will hope to continue the momentum and improve their standing in points table.

Nelson Mandela Bay Giants are third on points table with one win and one loss. They lost their last match against Cape Town Blitz by 12 runs. Bowling first, C Morris and R McLaren took two wickets each. Imran Tahir also bowled an economical spell to restrict CTB at 175. Heino Kuhn played an impressive knock of 55 runs in chasing effort but could not get support from other end leading to 12 run loss. They will hope for a unison effort by all players in today’s match.

A good match can be expected between both teams.

Jason Roy is not available as he is playing in T10 league.

There is slight chance of D Matthews replacing A Phangiso to add leg break option in team.

Marco Marais has been in poor form and can be replaced by seam option S Magala. Ben Duckett will open if this change takes place.
