The Worcestershire Rapids who finished at the top of the pile in the North Group last season started this season with a bang by registering a 125 runs win over Lancashire at the Old Trafford in Manchester. However, the start they made was halted in the next match only when they lost to Leicestershire Foxes by 38 runs in the following game. This was an unexpected loss given the way they started their campaign and will eye to come back on the winning ways via this match.
Meanwhile, things have been fantastic so far for the Durham Jets who are enjoying a tabletop position in the North group points table after being undefeated for 2 straight games. Their first win of the season came against Northamptonshire by 72 runs at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street, and then they went on to defeat Leicestershire Foxes by 6 wickets in their following match.
