After a thumping T20I series victory over India, England will hope to dominate another Asian team. And they are playing with the similar squad as against India and will be determined to make a strong start to the tour. They will miss the services of Sophie Ecclestone, Katherine Brunt, Sarah Taylor and Georgia Elwiss. They will enter as clear favourites against Sri Lanka Women.

8th ranked Sri Lankan team have failed to perform in recent times. They have failed to find supporting players for their star all-rounders Chamari Atapattu and Sasikala Siriwardana. Sri Lanka Women was recently clean swept by South Africa Women in ODI as well as T20I series. They will have to put their best effort to give a tough challenge to the mighty England team.

Sophie Ecclestone is ruled out of the tour due to injury while G Elwiss is also having fitness issue.

Katherine Brunt and Sarah Taylor are rested for the tour.

Tammy Beaumont and Amy Ellen Jones will open the innings. Laura Winfield, Heather Knight, Natalie Sciver and D Wyatt will follow them. S Dunkley will play the role of finisher.

A Shrubsole and Kate Cross will lead the pace attack along with Sciver. Alex Hartley and Laura Marsh/Linsey Smith will be the key spinners. Heather Knight and D Wyatt can support them.

Sri Lanka Women:

Anushka Sanjeewani and Prasadini Weerakkody can open the innings. C Athapaththu, Harshitha Madavi, S Siriwardene and Nilakshi de Silva will follow them.

K Dilhari, O Ranasinghe and Inoka Ranaweera can also contribute with the bat.

O Ranasinghe, Achini Kulasuriya and U Prabodhani will lead the pace attack while C Athapaththu, S Siriwardene, K Dilhari and Inoka Ranaweera will be the key spinners.
