The clash between two of the best teams in the world will be mouth-watering. The series contains three T20Is. India will be eager to prove their learnings from the exhausting IPL while England shall aim to continue domination.

The home team defeated Australia with ease in the one-off T20I which they played right after the ODI series. Batting first, the English team posted a mammoth total of 221/5 in their 20 overs. Buttler was sent to open and the move worked magic. His opening partner Jason Roy and Alex Hales at number four scored the bulk of the runs. Adil Rashid was at his bowling best in the chase and took three wickets including dangerous Aaron Finch. Jordan supported with three wickets also.

The Indian team had no problems what so ever in pushing aside Ireland. They bulldozed the green nation and registered two easy wins in the T20I series. The problem perhaps for India is that we have too many performers and they can choose only 11. KL Rahul was the man of the match in the last match and that will put Indian team management in selection dilemma. Bumrah’s replacement is another point of debate. It will be really interesting to see what XI does Kohli enters with.

• MS Dhoni will replace Dinesh Karthik for this match.
• Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are likely to open the innings for India. This means KL Rahul will bat in the middle-order, most probably in Manish Pandey’s place.
• Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be coming back to the playing XI. Yadav bowls well in powerplay while Kaul delivers in the death overs. Team management will have to take the call between these two.
