ENG vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction of 3rd T20I: Preview

Hello and Welcome to our preview for England vs Windies match. We are covering ENG vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the third T20I match. The match is to be played at Warner Park, Basseterre in St Kitts.

Two-time World Champions West Indies suffered a terrible loss in the second T20I and have already lost the series. England outperformed the Windies in every department to get a 137-run victory over the hosts. Batting first, Sam Billings and Joe Root played brilliant knocks of 87 and 55 respectively with former scoring at strike rate near 200 to give a target of 183 to Windies. Fabian Allen was the only positive for hosts taking two crucial scalps.

Chasing the target, Windies batting line-up collapsed miserably and could only score 45 runs. Nine of the batsmen failed to reach double digits and only Hetmyer and Brathwaite could score 10 runs each. Barbados born Chris Jordan took four wicket haul while Rashid, Plunkett and Willey took two wickets each.

West Indies will hope to forget their dismal batting performance and make a strong comeback to get a consolation win over England while England will be determined to end 50-days long tour on a high note by defeating Windies and clean sweep the T20I series.

After sealing the T20I series, England is likely to play Dawid Malan and Sam Curran resting Joe Root and Liam Plunkett. Chances of same are high.

Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales can open the innings. Joe Root/D Malan, Eoin Morgan, Joe Denly and Sam Billings will follow them.

Joe Denly, D Willey and Tom Curran will play the role of an allrounder.

D Willey, Tom Curran and Chris Jordan will lead the pace attack along with Liam Plunkett/Sam Curran. Adil Rashid and Joe Denly will be the key spinners.

Windies:

Andre Russell is unavailable for the series due to a knee injury. Obed McCoy replaces him in the squad.

Ashley Nurse got injured before the start of the last match and is unlikely to be fit to play today’s encounter.

Oshane Thomas can return to the playing XI replacing Obed McCoy.

There is also a slight chance of John Campbell making his T20I debut. He can replace Darren Bravo in the playing XI. However, He will open the innings if selected and Shai Hope can bat one down in such case.

Chris Gayle and Shai Hope can open the innings. Shimron Hetmyer, Darren Bravo (risky) and N Pooran will follow them.

Jason Holder, F Allen and Carlos Brathwaite will play the role of an allrounder. D Bishoo can also contribute with the bat.
