Pakistan Cricket lost its standards in the past due to match-fixing. Over the years, the PCB has dealt with many unfavorable events related to match-fixing.

In this context, former Pakistan cricketers Danis Kaneria and Faisal Iqbal continued with their ugly spat on Twitter where both of them were taunting each other.

PAK Cricketers took shots at each other on Twitter

It all started when Faisal Iqbal said Danish Kaneria always feared bowling to West Indian great Brian Lara. In a Test match, the stylish left-hander hit Kaneria for three sixes on the trot. Taking that incident into consideration, Iqbal took it on Kaneria.

“I still remember this match as a 12man Pakistan and was just watching the sixes going in the stands in his 200 double hundred… defiantly a dumb ass sledge Face with rolling eyes by Kaneria to the king @BrianLara and than later Kaneria himself got scared,”

This act from Iqbal was a clear case of belittling. Here’s the post shared by the batsman;

Danish Kaneria hit back with a Tweet of his own

The post shared by Faisal Iqbal amused Danish Kaneria, and the leg-spinner took no time to address the situation and came up with a befitting reply. He wrote;

“Look who is talking about cricket. Please check you stats first. Smirking face Also mention other matches that I have won. By the way, @BrianLara was a legendary cricketer. I respect him a lot,”

The conversation didn’t end there as Faisal Iqbal continued with a counter. This time, he criticized Kaneria for playing religion card despite being a match-fixer.

“Better than a FIXER and a LIAR stats..who sold his soul for year’s in GREED and now trying to gain a FAKE sympathy by playing Religion card 24/7!! Proudly wore this on my chest and proud of my all around stats☺️at least they are CLEAN!!”

To those who are unaware, Danish Kaneria doesn’t play any form of cricket after being accused of match-fixing. A few months back, he revealed how his Pakistani teammates treated him being a Hindu by religion. He also criticized PCB for not lending any help
