The former captain of India Sourav Ganguly is on a high since he took over the most prestigious role as the BCCI president. He is making rapid changes to the domestic circuit by increasing the pay for the Ranji matches. India played their first ever day-night tests under Ganguly. There is also an exciting announcement awaiting all the cricket fans about the super series which will include top 4 ODI teams in the world.

Winning a test series is something special: Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly in a recent interview said that winning a test series is something special and holds more value when compared to an ODI series or a T20I series.
Here’s what Ganguly said,

Chances are very good, the last time when we toured New Zealand, we won the ODIs 4-1. I want them to win the Test series… every series is equally important but winning a Test series is something special.
This is a very good side and they are good in form. I believe if you want good cricket on the field then you’ve got to sort out the off-field administrative things. We give freedom to Virat Kohli, ask him not to take any undue pressure, we also tell them to keep an eye on the consistency of the players.

Virat Kohli will decide the role of KL Rahul: Sourav Ganguly
The prince of Bengal also commented on the new Wicket keeper KL Rahul, the latest change in the Indian team that is doing rounds around the cricket fraternity. The Indian management decided to drop their trusted keeper in Pant and decided to give KL Rahul a long run as a wicket-keeper which is receiving mixed comments from the fans and experts around the world. Now the BCCI president is the latest to comment on this and said that it is completely decided by the team management and the skipper about KL Rahul’s role in the team.
“Virat Kohli takes that decision. The team management and captain decide the role of KL Rahul,” Ganguly said.
