Two Western Conference rivals, with the common aim of winning the coveted title, bump into each other, as Golden State Warriors host Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA preseason game. This will be the first-ever game to be played at Warriors, new home Chase Center.
Warriors are starting afresh after Steve Kerr was forced to go for a big overhaul this summer following the departure of Kevin Durant to Brooklyn Nets. D’Angelo Russell moved to the other side as part of the deal and will be expected to take some burden off Stephen Curry.
Lakers have their own lofty ambitions this season. The least is to make the playoffs and it should be the minimum target for the 16-time NBA champions after the addition of Anthony Davis to the roster.
Match Timing: October 06, @ 05:30 AM IST
Venue – Chase Center

GSW vs LAL Dream11 Fantasy Picks:
Stephen Curry: The two-time NBA MVP is considered as the best shooter of all time. With Klay Thompson out of the regular season, and Kevin Durant leaving for Brooklyn Nets, the 31-year-old has to do the bulk of the scoring. And he is more than capable of doing that.
Anthony Davis: He will look this season as a fresh start to his career after New Orleans Pelicans restricted his minutes last season. Together with LeBron James, he is expected to score heavily for the Lakers.
LeBron James: Doesn’t need any introduction. The very best this current generation offered and one of the best of all-time. After missing out on the post-season for the first time since 2005, the three-time NBA champion will be itching to return back the very top level.
D’Angelo Russell: The 23-year-old guard comes into the Warriors team from Brookly Nets this summer in a deal which saw Kevin Durant moving in the other direction. If his last season was anything to go by, Warriors have got a very good player, who is capable to fill the void left by Durant.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Improved as a shooter. He is a very very good option from the bench, a kind of player who can impact the game from the 2nd unit.
