Hobart Hurricanes defeated Brisbane Heat by 5 wickets yesterday. Batting first, Brisbane Heat were able to score 129 runs with Grace Harris being the top scorer for her 23 run knock. Meg Phillips starred with the ball taking three-wicket haul while Sasha Moloney, Alex Hartley, and B Hepburn took two wickets each. Corinne Hall and Mikayla Hinkley scored 48 and 45* respectively to chase the target comfortably. Grace Harris and Delissa Kimmince bowled well taking three and two wickets respectively but could not defend the target.

Brisbane Heat will hope to make a strong comeback tomorrow while Hurricanes will hope to capitalize on the momentum and register another victory.

Brooke Hepburn, Erin Fazackerley and Meg Phillips will be the key pacers while Sasha Moloney, A Hartley and H Knight will lead the spin attack.

They are likely to go with same playing XI. However, Veronica Pyke is a very talented pacer available in the squad and can come back in the playing XI.

Brisbane Heat:

One among Josephine Dooley and Sune Luus will play.
