Bowling first, James Faulkner and Johan Botha were brilliant taking three wickets each to restrict Sixers at 161. D Short continued his form scoring another match-winning knock of 64 runs. Melbourne Renegades are sixth on points table with two wins and three losses. They lost their last match against Adelaide Strikers by 32 runs. Bowling first, They restricted Strikers at 158 with C Boyce being top performer taking two wickets. No batsmen could play a steady knock in the chase and thus were left behind by 32 runs. B Webster and Jack Wildermuth were the only positives with bat. With skipper Aaron Finch back in the hunt, They will hope to give a tough challenge to unbeaten Hobart Hurricanes.

They have declared unchanged 13-men squad for the match.

Matthew Wade will open the innings along with D’Arcy Short. Alex Doolan, Ben McDermott, George Bailey and Simon Milenko will follow them.

Johan Botha, James Faulkner, Jofra Archer and Clive Rose can contribute with bat as well as ball.

Clive Rose, D Short and Johan Botha will handle the spin department while James Faulkner, Jofra Archer and Riley Meredith will spearhead the pace attack.

No changes are expected in their playing XI.

Melbourne Renegades:

They have also announced 13 men squad for the match. Skipper Aaron Finch has joined the squad replacing Joe Mennie.

Aaron Finch has been released from national duty and will come straight into the playing XI opening the innings on the expense of Mackenzie Harvey.

Aaron Finch and Cameron White/Sam Harper can open the innings. Tom Cooper and Beau Webster will follow them.

Mohammad Nabi, Jack Wildermuth and Dan Christian will play the role of allrounders.

Kane Richardson, J Wildermuth and Usman Khan Shinwari will be the key pacers along with Dan Christian while C Boyce and M Nabi will lead the spin attack.
