With a 2-0 lead in the series, India A will look to seal the five-match ODI series with another win when both the teams will meet tomorrow in the third ODI. The visitors have registered 65 runs win in each of the two games played so far and are one win away for taking an unassailable lead in the series.
On the back of the fifties from both the openers Ruturaj Gaikwad (85) and Shubman Gill (62) and a five-wicket haul from Navdeep Saini (5-46), India secured a convincing 65 runs wins despite Raymon Riefer’s (71 of 105) and Romario Shepherd’s (4-36).
It is a must-win game for the hosts to avoid the series from turning into a dead rubber. They have failed to put up a combined effort with the bat and need to ensure the openers provide a stable start. Both the openers Sunil Ambris and John Campbell will be the most responsible to set up a platform for Raymon Riefer, Roston Chase, and Jonathan Carter if Windies eyes a win tomorrow.
The last two ODIs will be played on July 19 and 21 at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua.
