West Indies won their last test assignment against Sri Lanka in West Indies but will have a tougher challenge here in subcontinent conditions facing top ranked test team. Team News:

India:

A 12 man squad has been declared by team India for tomorrow’s match. Shardul Thakur will most probably be left out of playing XI because three spinners will be preferred in sub-continent conditions.

Prithvi Shaw will debut for India. KL Rahul, Prithvi Shaw, V Kohli, A Rahane, C Pujara and R Pant will be the key batsmen. R Jadeja and R Ashwin will give them necessary support.

M Shami, Umesh Yadav will form the pace attack while R Ashwin, R Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav will lead the lethal spin attack of India.

West Indies:

They have declared 15 man squad for the test series. Kemar Roach will miss the first test as he has went Barbados due to death of his grandmother. Either batsmen Sunil Ambris who scored a century in practice match will play or spinner J Warrican can play.

Kraigg Brathwaite, K Powell, Shai Hope, Shane Dowrich and Shimron Hetmyer will be the key batsmen. Roston Chase and Jason Holder will perform All-round duties for team. D Bishoo and K Paul can also contribute with bat.

D Bishoo will lead the spin attack along with R Chase. Jason Holder, Keemo Paul and Shannon Gabriel will lead the pace attack of team.
