IRI vs SYR Dream11 Match Prediction

IRI vs SYR Dream11: Iran will be entertaining Syria in the first window of FIBA Aisa Cup Qualifiers 2021 at Azadi Arena, in Tehran on Thursday evening (IST). Iran are one of the dark horses for the tournament and are a seasoned team at this level. They have experience of winning this three times in the past, having won in 2007, 2009 and 2013, while they also came second-best in 2017 losing to Australia in the final, and also finished third in 2015. Iran are ranked quite high in the world at the moment, sitting at 22ns position in the current FIBA world rankings,, and will surely go into this game as favourites.
Syria, on the other hand, knows they have their backs against the wall in this game, as not only they are one of the least ranked teams in this qualifying campaign, currently at 100, but the inexperience of playing at such a high level may eventually undo them against a team of his calibre. To put into context, they have never played in the Asia Cup before.

Grand League tips:

  • Hamed Haddadi – Arguably the biggest name in this game. He burst on to the scenes at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and forcing Memphis Grizzlies to sign him. He is Iran’s high hope in this tournament, and he is more than capable of carrying this team.
  • Players such as Mohammad Jamshidi, Hamed Haddadi, Mohammad Hassanzadeh, and Hamid Hosseinzadeh can be handy as well.

Surely into football, kicked it for a while, and now beholding! Follows American sports, especially the NBA. And I believe Stephen Curry is under-rated as was Steven Gerrard.
