IPL provides entertainment not only on the field but also off the field for the fans. Kings XI Punjab were hammered at the hands of Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi in their 4th league which was also their 3rd loss in the season for them.

KXIP played the right XI in their first 2 games and the same cannot be said for their next 2 games. They overlooked Chris Jordan after just one bad game and decided to play the Kiwi all rounder Jimmy Neesham which hasn’t been an inspiring move to say the least. He has been used as the 5th bowler and KXIP paid the price for it as Jimmy Neesham went for 52 runs in his 4 overs with the ball. He didn’t score big with the bat either as he was dismissed for 7 runs.

Aakash Chopra criticizes Jimmy Neesham

The former Indian opener and youtuber and commentator Aakash Chopra has lashed out Jimmy Neesham in his youtube video. Here’s what Aakash Chopra had to say about Jimmy Neesham

They play Neesham, an overseas fast bowler, who neither bowls in the powerplay nor in the death overs. He is neither a great finisher nor a big batsman who bats in the top four or five. So why is Kings XI Punjab playing him? You are playing a player who is not really a match-winner

Jimmy Neesham has hit back to Aakash Chopra’s above comments by bringing in the T20 stats of Aakash Chopra.

Aakash Chopra’s polite reply

The commentator in Aakash Chopra decided to reply back to Jimmy Neesham’s reply in best possible manner which has won the hearts of cricket fans.

Kings XI Punjab have started their campaign in the disappointing manner as they could have won 3 out of their 4 games so far but due to their lackluster performances and team selection and questionable on field tactics, they managed to win only one game and lose 3 matches. Their next game is against KXIP on 4th of October.
