KKR vs KXIP Dream11 Team Prediction of IPL 2019: Preview | Miller and Tye join KXIP

Hello and Welcome to our preview for Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab match. We are covering KKR vs KXIP Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the T20 match. The match is to be played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Kolkata Knight Riders got a thumping victory over Hyderabad to begin their campaign on a good note. Bowling first, Kolkata had an ordinary show resulting in a target of 182. Andre Russell was the only positive taking two scalps. Chasing the target, Nitish Rana was brilliant top of the order scoring 68 runs in 47 balls and was supported by Robin Uthappa but a match-winning knock of 49* runs in 19 balls from Russell and 10 ball-18* from Shubman Gill led Knights to a memorable victory. Kolkata will expect a similar unison effort from all players tomorrow and also use home advantage to defeat Kings XI Punjab.

Team Kings XI Punjab also got a good start to the season defeating Rajasthan Royals at their fortress. Batting first, Universal Boss Chris Gayle played an outstanding knock of 79 runs in 47 balls and was supported by Sarfaraz Khan who scored an unbeaten knock of 46 runs to lead the team to a good total of 184. Defending the target, Ankit Rajpoot, Sam Curran and Mujeeb took two scalps each to successfully defend the total but the controversial mankading incident where Ashwin took the wicket of in-form Buttler created the difference and shifted momentum to Kings XI Punjab. Punjab will be determined to continue the early momentum ahead and get another victory defeating Knight Riders.

A good encounter can be expected between both teams.

Anrich Nortje, Shivam Mavi and K Nagarkoti have been ruled out of season due to injury.

Sunil Narine suffered injury in the last match but is likely to get fit for tomorrow’s encounter. If playing, He will most probably open the innings with Nitish Rana being demoted to number 4. If Narine remains unfit, then Joe Denly can replace him.

Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn can open the innings. Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill and D Karthik will follow them.

Andre Russell and Sunil Narine will play the role of an all-rounder. Piyush Chawla can also contribute with the bat.

Kuldeep Yadav, Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine will be the key spinners while Prasidh Krishna will lead the pace attack along with Andre Russell and Lockie Ferguson. Nitish Rana can also bowl few overs of spin.

Kings XI Punjab:

Andrew Tye and David Miller have joined the team and will come straight in the playing XI replacing Sam Curran and Nicholas Pooran.

There is also a slight chance of Karun Nair returning in the playing XI replacing Mandeep Singh. Chances of same are less.

Chris Gayle and KL Rahul are likely to open the innings. Mayank Agarwal, Sarfaraz Khan, D Miller and Mandeep Singh will follow them.

Ravi Ashwin will play the role of an allrounder.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Mujeeb Ur Rahman will lead the spin attack while Ankit Rajpoot, A Tye and M Shami will be the key pacers.
