Kings XI Punjab is in a good form and got a thumping victory over Mumbai Indians yesterday. Bowling first, M Shami, Hardus Viljoen and Murugan Ashwin took two scalps each to restrict Mumbai at 176. Chasing the target, Lokesh Rahul and Chris Gayle gave a solid start to the team. Gayle scored quick knock of 40 runs in 24 balls which Rahul played a match-winning knock of 71* runs. Mayank Agarwal also played a blistering knock of 43 runs in 21 balls. Punjab will be determined to continue their winning spree at Mohali and defeat Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals have finally brought a moment of joy for their fans by an all-round performance with bat and ball. In the last match, They defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in a thriller super Over match. Bowling first, They restricted KKR at 185 with Harshal Patel being top-performer taking two scalps. Chasing the target, Prithvi Shaw was at his attacking best scoring 99 runs in 55 balls and was supported by Shreyas Iyer who scored 43 runs to tie the scores. In Super Over, Delhi Capitals were able to score 10 runs and later defended it successfully due to the brilliance of Kagiso Rabada. Delhi will hope to continue the momentum and come all guns blazing to register another victory defeating Kings XI Punjab.

Chris Gayle and KL Rahul are likely to open the innings. Mayank Agarwal, Sarfaraz Khan, D Miller and Mandeep Singh will follow them.

Ravi Ashwin will play the role of an allrounder. Hardus Viljoen can also do big hitting.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Murugan Ashwin will lead the spin attack while Hardus Viljoen, A Tye and M Shami will be the key pacers.

Delhi Capitals:

There is also an outside chance of Axar Patel replacing Hanuma Vihari because of his familiarity with Mohali stadium.

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw will open the innings. Shreyas Iyer, Colin Ingram, Rishabh Pant and Hanuma Vihari will follow them.

C Morris and Harshal Patel will play the role of an allrounder. K Rabada and S Lamichhane can also contribute with the bat.
