Both the teams have struggled in the tournament so far. While Islamabad has lost two out of their three matches, Lahore doing even worse has lost all three of its matches. So haphazard changes are possible in both the teams, expect the unexpected.

ISL was defeated comfortably by Quetta in the last match. Ronchi started off well for Islamabad but none else could emulate him. Duminy and Misbah batted too slowly by the T20 standard, scoring 36 in 51 balls. Faheem Ashraf lifted the run-rate later. Bowlers did well but they had no answer to blazing Kevin Pietersen.

Lahore struggled with its lesser bowlers in Shaheen Afridi and Sohail Khan but their best bowlers bowled brilliantly. Mustafizur-Yasir Shah-Narine combined to bowl 65/5 in 12 overs. Lahore batting collapsed once McCullum and Zaman fell, from 70/1 Qalandars were 132 all out.
