Hello and Welcome to our preview for Melbourne Stars vs Sydney Thunder match. We are covering MLS vs SDT Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Manuka Oval, Canberra.

Melbourne Stars had a very poor season in 2017 with just two wins in their ten matches. Led by Glenn Maxwell, They will hope to turn around the things and enjoy a good season this year. New additions T20 specialist Dwayne Bravo along with Young Sensation Sandeep Lamichhane add variety to their bowling attack which was their reason of failure last season. They will hope to come all guns blazing and have a good start to the season.

Sydney Thunder also failed to qualify last year and won four and lost six matches. England Star batsman Joe Root has been signed for the season and will strengthen their batting attack. Young prospect Jason Sangha will also hope to perform at his attacking best. Having a well-balanced squad this season, They will definitely hope to compete for upfront for the trophy.

They have declared 13-men squad for the
match.

Nick Larkin and Lance Morris are added to the squad as an injury replacement for Nic Maddinson and Dan Worrall respectively.

One among Jackson Coleman and Michael Beer will play. Chances of Coleman are more as team will not prefer Beer as already two full-time spinner and part-time spin of Glenn Maxwell are available.

Travis Dean and Ben Dunk can open the innings. Nick Larkin, Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis will follow them.

Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Dwayne Bravo and Evan Gulbis will play the role of an all-rounder.

Scott Boland, Marcus Stoinis, Dwayne Bravo and Evan Gulbis will be the key pacers while Adam Zampa and Sandeep Lamichhane will lead the spin attack along with G Maxwell.

Sam Rainbird and Jono Cook are likely to miss out from the playing XI.
