• Nigeria is a team that are erratic and after losing to Madagascar and going down to Cameroon they found a spring in their step and came back through three goals.
• Nigeria will most probably field the same 11 they played against Cameroon in a 4-2-3-1 setup with Ighalo as the lone striker supported by Iwobi, Simon & Musa
• Chidozie Awaziem is a booking away from suspension and will have to be careful in the game. Daniel Akpeyi will start in goal in the game. Ighalo & Iwobi scored in the previous game and will look to score in this game as well,

• Thembinkosi Lorch, who scored the goal against Egypt, will start despite the return of Themba Zwane from suspension in the playing 11,
• Bogani Zungu, Sfiso Hlanti and Thulani Hlatshwayo are all on the booking and will be suspended if they get another yellow card.
