Hello and Welcome to our preview for Northern Knights vs Canterbury Kings match. We are covering NK vs CTB Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Super Smash 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

The Northern Knights with their powerful squad currently sit pretty on the top spot in the points table. They have three wins from their four matches so far. Canterbury is at the other end with two losses from the three matches played so far.

Northern Knights managed to squeeze out a thin victory against Auckland Aces in their last match. Daryl Mitchell, batting at number three, smashed 78 from 51 balls to take the side to 155/9. Scott Kuggeleijn’s 4/18 brought the Knights on the winning line but Somerville’s 37 from 16 balls kept the fight alive for Auckland. Daryl Mitchell defended 20 runs in the last over to secure a two-run win.

Canterbury Kings were embarrassed by Wellington Firebirds in their last match. The bowling unit struggled and conceded 200 runs in the first innings. Canterbury collapsed to 5/2 in two overs and never had a chance to recover. Cole McConchie stood tall with his 83 from 52 balls as the Kings lost by 65 runs.

They have declared their 12-man squad for the home game. Ish Sodhi and Tim Seifert are missing out due to national duties.

Neil Wagner was the 12^th man in the last match as he did not find any space in the team.

Devcich and Brownlie will open the innings. Daryl Mitchell bat at number three, followed by Brett Hampton.

Two all-rounders, Corey Anderson and Mitchell Santner, float in next with Daniel Flynn at number seven. Peter Bocock is the wicketkeeper.

Kuggeleijn and Jordan are the pace bowlers while Nethula remains the primary spinner.

Neil Wagner can also play.

Canterbury Kings:

They have also announced the 12-man squad for the match. Tom Latham has been added in place of Tyler Lortan.

Chad Bowes and Tom Latham can open the innings. Andrew Ellis may bat at number three with McConchie and Murdoch following him.

Leo Carter and Cam Fletcher shall handle the middle order.

Jeremy Benton (left-arm spinner) leads the spin attack.

Kyle Jamieson, Henry Shipley and Ed Nuttall complete the pace bowling. Will Williams can replace Shipley if he gets a game. Shipley bowled only two overs in the last match.
