No Russell or Rohit in DJ Bravo’s list of Top 5 T20 Cricketers

The T20 cricket has taken the center stage in the past 10 years or so especially with franchise leagues that has started to take place all around the world. The amount of entertainment that the shortest format of the game provides is second to none.

The West Indians are the shining stars in the T20 cricket and there is no league in the world without the caribbeans taking the center stage in it. The big West Indians are tailor made for the shortest format of the game and their natural ability to strike big is one of the main reasons for their demand in the T20 cricket.

DJ Bravo excludes Andre Russell from his top 5 T20 players

The veteran all rounder in Dwayne Bravo who recently came out of his retirement has been a pioneer in this format of the game. Having played all around the world, the legendary all rounder from the West Indies has picked top 5 T20 players in a recent chat session with cricbuzz which included some veteran T20 players but also was shocking to see him excluding the monstrous all rounder from his own country in Andre Russell.

One of the most sought after players in the T20 cricket at the moment is Andre Russell. His hitting ability is unmatched to go along with his fielding and bowling skills. It is a no brainer that the superman is the #1 all rounder in the T20 format at the moment.

Another notable exclusion is the second leading run getter in the T20 internationals in Rohit Sharma. The vice captain of the Indian team is considered as one of the destructive opening batsman and it was surprising to not see Rohit Sharma in the list.
