New South Wales have lost both of their encounters yet in the series by 4 and 7 wickets respectively. In last match, D Hughes was the key with bat scoring 79 runs and was well supported by Jack Edwards and Daniel Sams. But their bowling has not been up to mark leading to easily chase by opponent. Mickey Edwards was the only positive with ball taking two wickets. They will hope to get a win tomorrow before it’s too late in the tournament.
Victoria are fourth on points table with one win and one loss. They lost their last match by 65 runs. W Sutherland, J Coleman and Tom O Connell took two wickets each. Marcus Harris played a good knock of 69 runs top of the order. Other batsmen also got starts but could not convert it into big innings.
A good match can be expected between both strong teams.

Due to national duty, M Starc and N Lyon will not be available while J Hazlewood and P Cummins are out due to injuries. Their Captain Peter Nevill has also been ruled out of the series due to injury and K Patterson will lead the side on his behalf.
Spin All-rounder Chris Green and pacer Ben Dwarshuis are added in squad replacing Jason Sangha and Trent Copeland. If team goes with one spinner then Chris Green can replace Steve O Keefe. Ben Dwarshuis can also come in for M Edwards. D Hughes, K Patterson, M Henriques, N Larkin and J Edwards will be the key batsmen.
D Hughes has been their top scorer from last two seasons. J Lenton, Daniel Sams and S Abbott will play the role of finisher for team. S O’Keefe or Chris Green will lead the spin department and can be supported by K Patterson. S Abbott and Daniel Sams will lead the pace attack of team. Moises Henriques will support them.
A 14 man-squad has been declared. They will be without the services of Aaron Finch, Jon Holland, and Peter Siddle who are selected in squad for Pakistan test series. James Pattinson is also ruled out for the first few matches of the tournament due to injury.
M Short can replace S Boland who has been wicketless though chances are less. M Harris, S Gotch, C White, N Maddinson, G Maxwell and Peter Handscomb will be key with the bat. Will Sutherland can also contribute with bat.
C Tremain, W Sutherland, J Coleman will be the key pacers for team. S Boland will support them if plays. G Maxwell will lead the spin department of team along with T O’Connell.
