India haven’t played their full strength squad in the T20I format for a long time now. But still they are managing to win each and every series they are playing in home and away. India have been ruthless in the batting as well as in the bowling department. They are relentless with the ball in particular where they keep pushing the opposition with attacking line and lengths.
But the same cannot be said about the Indian fielding. They have been inconsistent in the field.

Virat sets his eye on raising the standard of fielding
In the pre match press conference the skipper himself has said that the fielding has been not up to the mark especially considering the fact that the average age of the team hovers around 27. India have some exceptional fielders who can field anywhere in the field. One can expect the standard of Indian fielding to be one of the best in the world if not the best with the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer.

The #1 ODI batsman and the captain Virat Kohli said:

We definitely have recognzed it as something that, if you look at the average age of this team, it’s 27 max. So we should be fielding way better than what we have. I think the standards of fielding overall were not that good from either side. T20 cricket it can happen because the game is so fast-paced. So once you get into a nervous zone, it’s very difficult to get out of it. It’s moving so quickly and the ball keeps coming to you.

India undefeated in their last 3 bilateral ODIs
India has been on a winning spree and they are completing each and every mission that they come across with ease. India have won their last 3 bilateral series against West Indies(away), West Indies(home), and Australia(home). India are dominating the world cricket at the moment and they will try to extend their winning habit away from their home as well.
Hamilton will host the 1st ODI Tomorrow.
