Team Otago is currently ranked fourth on points table with two wins and two losses. They won their last match against Central Districts by 14 runs under D/L method. Neil Broom and Anaru Kitchen were the top scorers with bat scoring 68 and 42 respectively to lead team to a total of 208 in 32 overs. Matthew Bacon and M Rippon starred with the ball taking three wickets each. Nathan Smith also took two wickets. They will hope for a similar unison effort from all players in tomorrow’s match.

Canterbury is ranked just above Otago with similar two wins and two losses. They lost their last match against Auckland by 3 runs. Bowling first, Will Williams was the only positive taking two scalps in an otherwise unimpressive outing by bowling department. Chad Bowes gave a brilliant start to the team and anchored his innings scoring 96 runs. Cam Fletcher and Henry Shipley played good knocks down the order scoring 63 and 51* respectively but were left behind by just 3 runs. They will hope to get a win tomorrow and improve their standing in points table.

Theo van Woerkom will lead the spin attack along with Cole McConchie while

Will Williams, Henry Shipley, A Hazeldine and Andrew Ellis will be the key pacers.
