In a surprising turn-around, rain aided the South African team and helped them gain the 2-1 lead in the five-match series. We now move to the Pink day ODI where the home team will don the pink uniform for charity purposes. This will be a must-win match for Pakistan as a loss here means series loss.

South Africa bowled well in patches but ended up conceding 317 runs against Pakistan. Dale Steyn was impressive in his tidy spell of 2/43. After the starts from the openers, Reeza Hendricks surged to 83 not out thus cementing his position. South Africa was 187/2 when the rain interrupted and they emerged the winners by 13 runs.

Imam-ul-Haq struck a wonderful century to solidify his claim in this Pakistani batting lineup. He enjoyed good support from Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez. The bowlers failed to take wickets. Out of two wickets to fall, one was runout and other was taken by Hasan Ali.

Fakhar Zaman faced his third consecutive failure. He may get axed in favor of Shan Masood who was solid in the Tests. Centurion Imam-ul-Haq will be his partner.

Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik will feature in the strong middle order.

Pakistan chose Imad Wasim in the last match. He scored a quick 43 runs of 23 balls. He will be the spin partner for the leggie all-rounder Shadab Khan.

Mohammad Amir, Hasan Ali and Shaheen Afridi will be the pace trio.

Sarfaraz Ahmed remains keeper-captain.

South Africa:

South African is unlikely to make any changes in the team except the spin department.
