Poland had topped in their group after they won all their three games against Venezuela, Ivory Coast and China. Apart from the second game against China, who took the game into overtime, all the wins were very comfortable. They won against Russia in the second round but lost the next game to Argentina by 65-91.
The Spanish team has had great success in the tournament so far and has been able to win all three of its game. It would like to win this game and carry on the momentum into further stages of the competition as well. It has defeated Tunisia, Puerto Rico and Iran in the previous games. And in the second group stage they have already defeated heavyweights Italy and Serbia.
