Hello and Welcome to our preview for Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Stars match. We are covering PS vs MLS Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Perth Scorchers are having a poor season and have won only one encounter out of their six matches. They lost their last encounter against Brisbane Heat by 5 wickets. Batting first, Ashton Turner played a good knock of 47 runs and was supported by M Klinger and C Bancroft to lead the team to a mediocre total of 135. Nathan Coulter Nile was lethal with the ball and took three crucial wickets but could not defend the target leading to another loss for them. They will hope for better performance from their batsmen in upcoming matches.

Melbourne Stars are third on the points table with three wins and two losses. They defeated Sydney Thunder by 8 wickets in their last encounter. Bowling first, They restricted Thunder at 135 with Scott Boland and Marcus Stoinis being top performer taking two wickets each. Handy knocks from Stoinis, Larkin and Maxwell ensured easy chase of the target. They will hope to continue their three-match winning streak ahead in the season.

They have declared 13 men squad for the match. Mitch Marsh, Jhye Richardson and Jason Behrendorff are on national duty and have been replaced by Sam Whiteman, Usman Qadir and Aaron Hardie.

Sam Whiteman and David Willey are expected to take the place of Mitch Marsh and Jhye Richardson. Either pacer Matthew Kelly or spinner Usman Qadir will take the place of Jason Behrendorff.

Michael Klinger and Sam Whiteman/Cameron Bancroft can open the innings. Ashton Turner, Hilton Cartwright and Will Bosisto will follow them. Ashton Agar will be the key allrounder.

Andrew Tye and Nathan Coulter-Nile will be the key pacers. Ashton Agar will lead the spin attack. Ashton Turner and Will Bosisto can also bowl few overs of spin.

Melbourne Stars:

They have declared 13-men squad for the match with three big changes. Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis are on national duty and are replaced by Nic Maddinson, Jonathan Merlo and Tom O’Connell in the squad.

Nic Maddinson will directly come in the playing XI and will handle captaincy duties of the team. Pace allrounder Jonathan Merlo can take the place of Marcus Stoinis while Liam Bowe or Tom O’Connor will replace Adam Zampa.

Nick Larkin and Ben Dunk can open the innings. Nic Maddinson and Seb Gotch will follow them.

Dwayne Bravo and Evan Gulbis will play the role of all rounder.

Liam Plunkett, S Boland and Dwayne Bravo will be the key pacers while Michael Beer will lead the spin attack.

Jackson Bird is unlikely to find a place in playing XI as all-rounder Merlo will be preferred so to strengthen the batting attack.
