Hello and Welcome to our preview for Perth Scorchers vs Adelaide Strikers match. We are covering PS-W vs AS-W Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the Women’s Big Bash League 2018-19 match. The match is to be played at Albrecht Oval, Alice Springs.

Perth Scorchers are fifth on the points table with six wins and six losses. They lost their last match to Sydney Sixers due to the brilliance of Ellyse Perry. Bowling first, They could not stop the Sixers leading to a target of 184 runs. Piepa Cleary and Heather Graham were the only positives with ball able to take a wicket each. Meg Lanning was clinical in the chase playing a splendid knock of 76 runs but could not get support from other batsmen and thus were left behind by 32 runs. A unison effort will be required from all players in the remaining two matches to keep their chances of qualification alive.

Adelaide Strikers are sixth on the points table with four wins and seven losses and have already lost any hope to qualify for playoffs. However, They are coming with two comprehensive wins over Hurricanes. In the last match, Batting first they gave a target of 166 with help of a 65-run blistering knock from Tahlia Mcgrath and handy knocks by Devine and Bates. Megan Schutt and Alex Price starred with the ball taking three and two wickets respectively to provide a 24 run win to the team. They will hope to upset the qualification chance of Scorchers by defeating them in the remaining two matches of the season.

Perth Scorchers:

They have declared 14 women squad for the match. Elyse Villani is fit from injury and will directly come in the XI opening the innings.

Bhavi Devchand is added as a replacement for Hayleigh Brennan.

Nicole Bolton is not a part of the squad as she has taken an indefinite leave from cricket due to personal reasons.

Elyse Villani and Meg Lanning will open the innings. Amy Jones and Heather Graham will follow them.

Heather Graham, Hayley Jensen and Piepa Cleary will lead the pace attack along with Kate Cross. Emma King will be the key spinner.

With the addition of Villani at the top, Any one among Piparo, Ebasry and Carmichael is likely to be axed. If team risks to go with only 5 bowling options, Then Taneale Peschel can also be risky.

Adelaide Strikers:

They have declared unchanged 13 women squad for tomorrow’s encounter.

Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine will open the innings. Tahlia Mcgrath, Bridget Patterson and Tegan McPharlin will follow them.

Megan Schutt, Alex Price, Tahlia Mcgrath, S Devine and Sarah Coyte will be the key pacers while A Wellington and D Hazell will lead the spin attack.

No changes are expected in their playing XI. However, Samantha Betts can be risky after her expensive outing in the last match and can be replaced by Katelyn Pope or Tabatha Saville.
