Quetta Gladiators is the team with momentum behind them. After struggling to pick up a win in early matches, they have made a spectacular return in form with strong performances behind them. In their last match, they defeated Peshawar by six wickets. Watson and Rahat Ali bowled brilliantly to restrict Peshawar and the combined effort from the top batsmen saw Quetta team home.

Lahore Qalandar played one of the most bizarre T20 finish the last time around and registered a win in the super over by defeating Karachi Kings. Sohail Khan well supported by the top Lahore bowlers stopped Kings team at 163 runs. Agha Salman led the way in the chase with a strong fifty with Zaman and Devcich supporting at the top. The match ended in a tie.
