This is the 17th match of third season of Tamil Nadu Premier league 2018 between Ruby Trichy Warriors and Karaikudi Kaalai, as a result of which Ruby Trichy Warriors will be playing their forth match of the season out of which they have won the first two matches against Dindigul Dragons and Chepauk Super Gillies where as they have lost the previous match to Lyca Kovai Kings.

On the other side Karaikudi Kaalai will be also playing their forth match of the season and they have won last two consecutive matches against VB Kanchi Veerans and Chepauk Super Gillies, and the one match they lost was also in a super over, so this team has the great opportunity to play in playoffs if they continue this momentum because this team have good players in all the units.

Previously when this both the team met each other, both the times the favourite’s Karaikudi Kaalai have won the matches, whereas Ruby Trichy warriors will look for their first win against them.

They have also 3 retained players B Indrajith, Bharath Shankar and K Vignesh in this year.
Aswin Crist has been ruled out of TNPL due to back injury.
Murali Vijay will be not playing in this season.
Bharath Shankar and Skipper Baba Indrajith will open up the inning for Ruby Trichy Warriors.
S Arvind failed to score in the previous match out for a duck as a result of this he can be replaced by Sathiamoorty Saravanan.
MS Sanjay didn’t perform well so he can replaced by DT Chandrasekar.
