South Africa will face off Australia in the third and final ODI in Potchefstroom tomorrow.
South Africa was going through a rough phase from a long time but in this ODI series they made a good come back and registered their first series win in almost in a year. In this SA vs AUS series Lungi Ngidi with ball and youngsters like Janneman Malan, Heinrich Klaasen and veteran David Miller led with bat. They’re playing in a unit and they need to be more consistent to compete with top teams and they will also hope that captain de Kock will come among runs after two poor games. On the other hand, Australia must be gutted after losing the series. In this series their batsmen have let them down as David Warner, Smith and Finch couldn’t play big knocks and middle order batsmen aren’t clicking as well. In the bowling Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood didn’t look at their best either.

In this ODI series two matches have been played so far and on the basis of that performances we’re analysing both sides’ strengths and weaknesses and will also make our cricket match prediction –
Strengths : Host South Africa’s weakness is their pace bowling attack of Ngidi, Nortje and Phehlukwayo who have been good in both the ODIs and in middle overs spinner Shamsi is also doing well. In the batting middle order batsmen Klaasen and Miller are scoring good runs. For Australia it’s their top order batting line up of Warner, Finch and Smith who on their day can create problems for any bowling attack. In the bowling Cummins, Starc and Zampa are the trump cards.
Weaknesses : South Africa’s weakness is the absence of a finisher and also they don’t have depth in their batting so if they lose two-three quick wickets they can be in some trouble and in the bowling their fifth bowler aren’t picking wickets in the middle overs. For Australia their biggest weakness is the middle order of Carey, Mitchell Marsh, Short and Agar who haven’t scored big runs on this tour so far.
South Africa after two good performances have already won the series and now they will look to build the some winning momentum. Their batsmen and bowlers are in fine form. Lungi Ngidi have picked up 9 wickets in 2 games and the likes of Nortje and Shamsi are also bowling well. In the batting youngsters are scoring hundreds and if de Kock comes good then they can be very dangerous. On the other hand, Australia will look to finish this tour with a win and for that their top three batsmen Warner, Smith and Finch need to score big runs and in bowling Cummins, Zampa, Hazlewood and Agar have to respond well. On seeing both sides’ performances in the first two ODIs our today match prediction is that South Africa should complete the whitewash of Australia. However toss will be important and a score of 280 plus while batting first will be good.

Two ODIs have been played in this series and on the basis of those two games’ performance following players are good picks for Fantasy Cricket team
South Africa :
Lungi Ngidi : 9 wickets in 2 innings
Heinrich Klaasen – 174 runs in 2 innings (1*100, 1*50)
David Miller – 101 runs in 2 innings (1*50)
Janneman Malan – 129 runs in 2 innings (1*100)
Aaron Finch : 79 runs in 2 innings (1*50)
Steven Smith : 89 runs in 2 innings (1*50)
Pat Cummins – 4 wickets in 2 innings
Australia is more experienced and a better team than South Africa on papers but performance wise South Africa have been good in this series. Their new players like Klaasen and Malan are scoring big runs and in the bowling Ngidi has been exceptional and they should continue their good run so for dream11 prediction these three players are must pick for fantasy teams. The likes of Warner, Finch, Smith, Cummins, de Kock don’t usually fail for a long time so after having two average outings they should come good in the final ODI tomorrow. And the absence of Starc will help de Kock too and he will be eager to play a big knock tomorrow. D’Archy Short and Mitchell Marsh too are good options as they bat in middle order and also bowl a few overs.
